No Rewards
“A shy but hardworking and bright boy.” That’s how everyone sees Julian Yap, hard worker, filial son, and good friend. On a park bench, he recounts how he’s made himself to be, bit by bit uncovering what’s behind his life driven by others around him. No Rewards is a one-gay-man play that deals with expectations, appearances, and the catch of depending too much on other things.
presented as part of LASALLE SOLO Fest 2019.
